Large space under Word cannot be removed

Hello,

I have a Word 2007 document that I need to modify. The problem is that there is a large space between two lines that I can't remove. I have activated the paragraph marks, and there are none in that space. Where is this coming from, please?

    Hello,

    This may be due to the Line spacing settings!
    Select the text, right-click > Paragraph, check that the line spacing is set to "Single" and that the Spacing Before: 0pt After: 0pt.
