Hello,
I am currently writing my thesis and when I wanted to work on the layout, a wrong manipulation on my title styles changed the appearance of my footnotes.
Let me explain: The space between the separator line and the footnotes has become very large (which has shifted everything in the process) and I can't go back.
If anyone can help me....
Thank you in advance!
Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 14.0.1

Hello
You are not providing your Word version!
You need to display the footnotes pane.
Until 2003, switch to "Normal" view,
Then View / Footnotes
from 2007, in "Draft" view.
Then References: Show Notes
In the notes pane, remove any unnecessary empty paragraphs.
Also click in the dropdown list and choose "Footnote Separator" and check that the paragraph spacing is set to 0
