Uninstall MyStart by IncrediBar

Hello,
Today I made some mistakes. I started downloading a documentary that I ultimately canceled because the link didn't inspire confidence. And I was right.
Since then, whenever I type something in the search bar, it’s no longer Google that’s doing the work, but Mystart by IncrediBar and this is happening on all browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE...).
I tried to remove it using CCleaner, directly in the programs, and nothing works; it is nowhere to be found. I installed Spybot, which found it and offered to remove it, which I did, but the problem is still there.

I'm starting to despair. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 12.0

Under Firefox, to get back to Google when typing keywords in the search bar, you need to:

    1. Type in the Firefox address bar:
    about:config

    2. Search for the line (using the filter makes it faster!)
    keyword.url

3.Click on this line and replace
    http://mystart.magen...t...Bar&search=
    with
    http://www.google.com.my/search?q=

    4. Save everything (hit the [enter] key) and check that you are under Google instead of the Incredimail spyware portal.

With this trick, you can put your preferred search engine in place of Google....

Hi, so I did "about:config" and once you're there, it's simple, just type "my" and you'll see all the modules with mytart...... and once they are displayed (because I had 3 with the crap mystart code) just change the values to "http://www.google.com.my/search?q=" instead of the link "mystart something...." there you go, solution that worked with Firefox.

      Hello,
Actually, I use Firefox with Google.
And following an automatic update of Firefox last week, Google was replaced by My Start by Incredibar.
I wanted to remove it to get Google back, but I couldn't do anything.
My Start by Incredibar didn't appear anywhere (neither in the Firefox homepage preferences, nor in the start menu, nor in the programs and features, nor on the hard drive where installed programs are found), so it was impossible for me to delete it.
I uninstalled Firefox and other Google applications, then reinstalled everything, but My Start by Incredibar came back again.
That's when I started searching online and found this discussion.
I first followed the steps you suggested, Arzmael (about: config) and tried some methods in the modules and extensions tabs of Firefox, but that didn't work either.
So I followed Saachaa's advice and downloaded AdwCleaner while I waited to show the report to someone and get more information to get rid of this My Start...

Following Saachaa's last reply, I added Google to my browser preferences on Firefox (usually I would restore default settings) and it worked.
But after what I read here and there, I want to be sure that I have really gotten rid of My Start by Incredibar, as apparently it’s a virus or something that acts like one.
Now that I have explained my situation to you (I hope I was as clear as possible), let me know if everything is okay or if there are other things to do.
