Numbers and Caps Lock on Mac

Solved

Hello,

I’m on a Mac and unlike on a PC, the caps lock key doesn’t work for numbers.
I’m therefore forced to use both hands (for example, when I'm on the phone).

Is there a way to lock it in caps and type the numbers without having to press the Shift key at the same time?

Thank you.

Configuration: Mac OS X / Safari 534.55.3

Let's add that, in the case of small keyboard devices (those for which this problem usually occurs), you can obtain the numbers with the Caps Lock on by using the "French Numeric" key layout (which is specifically designed for that) instead of "French".

Note: you can select the key layout via the "Input" menu (the small flag on the right side of the menu bar).

Thank you very much. I've had a MacBook Air for almost 2 weeks. I got it to replace my PC. I'm really struggling to live without my shortcuts in Excel, but the fact that I couldn't do caps lock for the numbers was driving me crazy. I was about to return it this afternoon. Thank you. My problem was that I was always searching on English sites. So thank you. I'm keeping it!
