Hello,

I have absolutely no idea if this is possible, but I know that someone here will know... ;)
I had my phone stolen today and I would like to know if it's possible to recover the received texts (I had some super important texts)?
I didn’t save them on the SIM or do anything else (sync...)

Thank you all and have a good evening!

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 12.0

Hi Delphine, was your iPhone synced to your PC or to iCloud?

Is it an iPhone? If so, then it's possible if you have another iPhone.

Hello maxime121294, your response regarding the iPhone interests me because my iPhone was stolen and I also had some super important texts on it (not backed up on PC or elsewhere), it's quite urgent and I’m looking for a solution to recover them. Could you please let me know the solution you were thinking of? Thank you in advance!!

Unfortunately, since the message I posted, there has been a horrible update from Apple regarding iTunes! I can guide you on how to proceed with the old graphical interface if you're still lucky enough to have the old version. Then, there’s a second issue, which is that you say it’s urgent, but if you want to recover them, it will restore your entire old backup and not just the text messages (all contacts, saved settings, texts, photos, etc.). So you would need an iPhone, preferably of the same model or higher, to restore your backup. I’ll leave you to figure out how to get the iPhone, but basically, you need one that can be completely erased in order to put your backup on it and thus be able to read (and why not save elsewhere) your texts. If you can get an iPhone and a different version of iTunes than the latest, I’ll be happy to guide you through the process! Good luck, my friend.

So I can't tell you that we can't, but I don't know Samsung. I hope someone else will be able to help you. Good luck.
