Install an app directly on its SD card

Hello,
I have an HTC Wildfire S. My Android version is 2.3.3.
I would like to install an app from the Android Market directly onto my SD card since my internal memory is insufficient, there is plenty of space on my SD card. I tried using App2SD but had no success, and I would like to find a way to do this without "rooting" my phone, if possible...
On another forum, I saw that the Android Market has been replaced by the Play Store, what is that?
Thank you in advance for all the responses.

Configuration: Windows XP / Safari 535.19

No, on the other hand, it voids the warranty.

What do you mean? Could he stop walking properly?

rooting = giving you superuser rights on your phone.

This means you can do anything on it, like deleting the calling app, and thus end up with a phone that can't make calls.
      It's silly, right?
It also applies to texts or photos.

So if you do anything reckless, you can render your phone unusable; if you are careful, the phone will function properly.
