Hello,
Check that you haven't included any hidden text.
When you see it, is it underlined with a faint dotted line? If so, it is hidden.
Font Format: disable "hidden".

If you want to be helped effectively, make sure you are on the right forum,... and specify the software used as well as its version. We are lacking in clairvoyants!

Hello Philippe.
And what’s the point of removing the paragraph breaks? Your table of contents won’t have any numbering and the chapter titles will be aligned in a single paragraph. I have a hard time understanding!

Hello Rraymon,
to format my document I use my (¶ paragraph marks) to see more clearly if my layout is correct, I click on the icon to hide them, that’s when my text where I created my table of contents with a multi-level list disappears. It's true that it’s underlined with a light dotted line, that's where I'm stuck, thank you.

Thanks, that was just right. Thank you very much anyway.
