Hello,

I just acquired an ASUS CM6650 equipped with a Ralink 802.11n WiFi card.

My Freebox configuration is: Channel 6 / 802.11n mode enabled on 40 MHz Upper Channel

The speed is very average (lower than what I get with a DW-140 USB key), peaking at 135 Mbit/s, but most of the time I am between 54 and 81...

How can I optimize the card settings?

I can modify 4 properties:

1/ Adhoc support 802.11n: Enable (*) / Disable

2/ Country Region (2.4GHz): I have access to a list of values:
#0 (1 -11)
#1 (1 - 13)
...
#6 (3 - 9) (*)
#7 (5 - 13)

3/ Multimedia/Gaming Environment: Disable (*) / Enable

4/ Radio On/Off: Enable (*) / Disable

(*) corresponds to the selected value.

Thank you for your help.

Configuration: Windows 7

    Hi,
it determines the number of allowed channels depending on the countries.
I believe that in France (to be confirmed) it’s from 1 to 13.
