PC très lent

Bonjour,
J'ai un petit soucis avec mon pc, il devient de plus en plus lent. Parfois je dois attendre plus de 2 minutes avant que windows media player ne se lance. Lorsque j'allume le pc, il faut du temps avant que le bureau ne s'affiche. Il y a beaucoup de programmes qui se mettent sous le statut "ne répond pas". Lorsque je lance une page internet je dois attendre également avant qu'elle ne s'affiche. Il y a encore d'autres choses mais ce qui revient généralement c'est la lenteur. C'est un PC portable.
La configuration est la suivante :
cpu : intel core duo processor T2300 1,66 Ghz
memory : 1GB/Go DDR2 SDRAM (533Mhz)
HDD : 80GB
Graphics : Nvidia Geforce Go 7400 with turbocache supporting
256Mb
OS : Windows XP Media Center Edition (les mises à jour se font
régulièrement)

J'ai lu certains sujets sur le forum et généralement il est conseillé de mettre un rapport avec HijackThis.
