Etarget issue - Emailing - SMTP

Hello,

I hope I'm in the right place...

Anyway, I have a website, and I want to do an emailing through the address created via my host, which is 1and1.
I created an email address with my host that uses my website's domain name.

For this, I downloaded Etarget, a software for doing HTML emailings, so it's all nice... so far so good.

However, once my email is created, and my addresses entered in the software, and the SMTP server of my host defined in the software, I can't send my email.

To make it simpler, here are some images:

There are only 5 emails, I know, it was just for testing.
It gives me an error code: X:1 --> I don't know what that corresponds to.

Otherwise, do you know of a good software for making nice HTML emailings?

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 10.0.1

Hello, I don't know if it will help you, but I use the Gmail and Yahoo server.
    EX
    SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com
    port: 465
    login: my Gmail email address
    password: my Gmail password
    FOR Yahoo

    smtp.mail.yahoo.fr
    465
    Yahoo email address
    Yahoo password

Are you entering your login and password for 1&1???
    Maybe try port 465

I also bought etarget emailing three weeks ago as the Gmail and Yahoo server are limited, so I decided to buy the etarget one for €75.
But this bunch of %§%¨¨ haven't activated my SMTP server yet; it's clearly marked as active license, but when I send a message it says server deactivated.
The worst part is that they do not answer any questions either by email, Twitter, Facebook, or even phone; this story is driving me crazy (time is passing and my SMTP and tracking license too)

I would just like to know if for your problem you tried to contact etarget and if they answered you?

    Hello,

We have been using Etarget for several years now.
Its interface and user-friendliness are relatively easy.
    The tracking tool is satisfactory.
However, the included HTML editor is deplorable and the provided SMTP server is very unreliable.
But the real issue is the complete lack of technical support.
We have been experiencing serious problems with the new version for several weeks.
Despite numerous emails and calls, we have, to date, received NO response from them.
The decision has been made to switch to YMLP at the start of the school year.
    A word to the wise...

      Hello,
I work in email marketing and I tried etarget including their own paid routing service. After a week, nothing worked anymore. For three months, I wrote and tried everything to get responses, but nothing. A company I do not recommend, to say the least...
