Does the PS3 play PSP games? Solved

Hello,

I would like to know if the PS3 (I have one with 300 or 360 GB, I can't remember) is capable of playing PSP games because I want to buy Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core which only exists on PSP and my PSP is broken (70 € for the repair). I'm planning to buy this game on the PlayStation Store, so I want to download it. I thought that since all the buttons on the PSP are also on the PS3, I could play PSP games on the PS3. Is that true, please?
