USB Printer Sharing Issue on Network Solved

Question

Hello, I need to install a USB printer and share it via the computer it's connected to. The only small problem is that this computer is inaccessible from the other computers on the network. When I try to access it, I am asked for a password and username.  If I enter them, everything is fine, I can print remotely, but only if I turn off the remote computer; I no longer have access to the printer. I have to enter the user/password again.  As for shared documents, I have access to all the shared documents from the PCs on the network, except for the one with the printer. Moreover, this PC does not have access to the shared documents of the other computers.  I don't know what to do; I thought about creating a network drive, but that doesn't work.   Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 8.0.1

Thanks to the CD driver, on the computer (source) via USB, by adding a new printer.

Yes, check the settings; it must surely come from the PC with the printer... aside from that, do you know how to access one PC from another??? with the PCs on the network.

Yes, with the other computers, including mine, I can freely navigate through the shared folders of the computers on the network from the Windows Microsoft network interface.

Is it coming from the one with the shared printer then?? Reconfigure that PC, you might have made a mistake...

(if the domain server connection authorization is present, as far as I'm concerned, I can go anywhere. I think the PC that is having the issue may not have access to the domain, and even if it is on the same network and can communicate, it may not be able to access the folders of a PC on another domain. This is a supposition.)

When I say the PC does not have access to the domains, I am referring to the user's rights. I think the problem (maybe) goes back to the management of accounts on the server.

No, 80% of the PCs are on the domain, there are some PCs on the workgroup that do not have the same name, including the one that is malfunctioning, and I haven't tried to set up a USB printer on the other PCs in this workgroup, so I don't know if that is really the cause.

You can have several workgroups in the domain, but for the PCs to communicate with each other, they must be part of the same group...

I already understand why the computer asks me for a username/password; it's because it logs into the PC session, rather than a domain session, while we’re trying to access a shared folder from a computer on the domain.

Yep, that's it, there's no way to create a small .batch or a persistent one allowing me to set a log/pass for the user in question? So that they can log onto the domain by connecting through their PC session, (as they usually do)?
