Find cmd.exe Solved

Question

Hello,
I have a huge problem as I no longer have the cmd.exe program in my files.
At least, I can't open it, launch it, or do anything with it...
I would like to know if there is a method to recover it.
Thank you in advance.
P.S: I'm using Windows 7.

Hey,
I don't know about seven, but it should be pretty much the same as on XP. You can recover it from the CD:

---> CD in the drive.
---> in RUN of WINDOWS, enter the following command:
extract o:\i386\cmd.ex_ C:\cmd.exe
o: is the name of your CD drive
- click OK
- You should find CMD.EXE at the root of your C: drive
- You just have to copy it to its directory.

how can we lose a system file?  search in: c/windows and c/windows/system32  -- the keyboard/mouse interface is the hardest to configure.

Hello  1. Open Notepad and type cmd.exe 2. File > Save As >  . File name: cmd.bat  . Save as type: All Files 3. Close Notepad 4. Open the created file  And there you go!
