Hello,
I have an EMTEC 8 GB USB drive that was connected to my hi-fi system and someone leaned on it with their back and twisted it. I tried to untwist it. I connect it to the computer and if I hold it in a certain way, it lights up but is not recognized in the computer (Windows 7). I have important data on it! Could you help me? Thank you (:

Hello,
Generally, in this situation, it’s the solder joints that fail between the printed circuit board and the connector.
If the printed circuit board is not broken, it can be easily repaired with a fine-tipped soldering iron and some delicacy (and a magnifying glass ;-) ).
Be careful with static electricity discharges, and make sure to ground the iron.
