Problème pour demarrer mon server apache2

salut je suis nouveau sur ubuntu .j'ai la version 11.10 . 'ai installer apache2 mais j'arrive pas à l'utiliser .

quand je fais : sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 start

ça m'affiche : * Starting web server apache2 httpd (pid 1031) already running
[ OK ]

quand je lance dans le navigateur : http://localhost/testing.php
l'obtient les différents tableaux attendus .

quand j'arrive pas a afficher mes fichier php .par exemple quand je fais : http://localhost/
ça m'affiche :It works!

mais quand je veux afficher mes fichiers php rie ne s'affiche .
exemple quand je fais :http://localhost/enregistrement.php
rien ne 'affiche .
