LED TV image distorted scooter passage

Hello,

I recently bought an LED TV, and when a scooter passes in front of the house, the TV image becomes blurry for a few moments and then returns to normal.

The picture quality is impeccable, especially in HD, but this issue with the image blurring is really annoying, and it happens every time a scooter goes by.

I don't understand where the problem comes from. The scooter interferes with the TV's signals. Maybe it's something to do with anti-interference on the scooters.

Thank you for your responses.

Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 8.0

Good evening, you are not an isolated case; certain TNT disturbances can be caused by household appliances, a mobile phone, an electric fence, wind turbines, scooters...
Is your antenna installation equipped with a mast preamplifier? It is a component that amplifies these phenomena; set the gain to a minimum for quality reception, not beyond that.
Quality of the antenna cable: minimum double shield "foil" + copper braid maximum 17patc or vatc, all connections and F plugs must be impeccable, the TV cable should not be compressed, twisted, "broken," bent, or even follow the path of an electrical supply.
It is possible to insert a specific filter into the installation, but its usefulness will be limited.

      Thank you for your information.

In 2009, an installer came to replace my old antenna and installed a new one. I don't know the quality of the antenna cable; only the specialist knows that. I will need to call him back.

If it's a professional antenna installer, the cable should theoretically be of good quality and the installation flawless.
A mast preamplifier? If so: install a Johanson filter.

Yes, it's true that in principle the cable should be of good quality since it's a professional antenna technician who did the work.
I don't know what the mast preamp is. I have the antenna cable coming into the apartment, then it connects to a white box via a plug, and there's another plug connected to the cable going to the antenna. This might be that device.
