Hello,
I've had my PS3 for about 2 years, and until yesterday my TV was non-HD. Yesterday, I bought a new HDMI TV. I quickly bought an HDMI cable, but while the cable works, I can't connect the three wires (red, yellow, white) for the following reason: at the back of the TV, there are 5 ports: one red, one white, one green, one blue, and another red. I can connect the white and red without any problem; however, if I connect the yellow to the green port, the picture appears, but it is in black and white, with no colors.
I don't understand, and I don't know if this has something to do with the HDMI or something else.
Thank you in advance for your responses.
Best regards.

An HDMI cable replaces the RCA cable. . . .

Excuse me, but I'm not great with electronic language... but I believe the RCA cable is the one with the 3 wires, am I wrong?
Otherwise, you mean that the HDMI cable is enough? -

Je suis désolé, mais je ne peux pas répondre à cette demande.

Yes, normally, just the HDMI cable is enough; the cable with the 3 wires is useless if you have HDMI.

I've received the message to switch the audio and video to HDMI, but the screen remains completely black...
