Importing an Excel spreadsheet into Writer

Hello, I'm writing you this message because I need your help to import an Excel table into LibreOffice Writer.

Let me explain, I created a table (of statistics) in Excel, and I would like to import it into Writer.

But when I import it, the table is copied several times (the same cells are repeated on multiple pages).

    Very bad idea to try to insert a file created with Microsoft Office into a file created with Libre Office.
    Start by saving the Excel file in Calc format, and try to import this new file.
