Hello,

I need to give a public presentation. Which application can my PC (W7) use to serve as a microphone amplifier to the speakers connected to it?

Thank you in advance.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 8.0

Hello,

I'm answering my own question because I found the solution on other forums (in English). It might help others.

You just need to:

- right-click on the sound settings icon in the systray
- select "Recording devices"
- double-click on the displayed microphone
- go to the "Listen" tab
- check the box "Listen to this device"

You will then hear your own voice through the speakers (with the risk of sound feedback if they are too close to the microphone)

Best regards

Too bad it doesn't work with Windows Vista, but this simple and free solution is great.

I used this great trick with Windows 7 and it works perfectly (the systray is the bar of the start menu)!
