Hello,

my TV works well when it is connected to 12V direct (battery cell)
if I connect it to 220V in the motorhome, it works but there is no sound.

I would like to understand why??

thank you for your responses

best regards

    Hello,
Some additional explanations would be welcome.
Directly on the TV battery, it's fine with sound.
If I plug in the 220V on the camper van = I power the (coupler/separator/breaker) that charges the leisure battery and stops when it is charged to 13.5V.

Do you mean that at that moment you are running the TV on 220V? If that’s the case, it would mean that your TV has a transformer issue from 220V to 12V.
Do you mean that you always run it on 12V but there’s no sound anymore? That’s indeed strange and I’m not strong enough in electricity to explain it, but maybe it’s still a higher voltage issue because a battery fluctuates between 11.5 and 13.5V.
    Best regards

    Good evening

Thank you, Kpcien, for the response.

I also think it's a problem with the transformer (220V to 12V), but is it on the TV or on the camper?

I will try with the old cathodic TV.

    Thank you, best regards.

    Good evening,
If you left the TV on 12V, it should be due to the C-car transformer.
