FREEBOX: permanent flashing rectangle Solved

Hello,
My FB can't connect. The indicator stays at the blinking rectangle stage. I've done REBOOTS and Hard reboots, without success. The hotline lives up to its reputation. Anyway, I'm in deep trouble...
Here are the characteristics of my line, if someone could help me out, that would be nice:

me too, same problem as you cabs, received yesterday, step 6 ok, hard reboot done many times!!!! hotline says to wait but the withdrawals don't wait!!!! what to do...........

I'm having the same problem, I read the previous topics and I've tried everything, I'm on step 6, there's nothing else connected, the brand new filter is connected, so I really don't understand what's going wrong... and naturally the hotline is busy!

Hello, I just received my Freebox this morning, I plug it in and I get a nice blinking rectangle but it doesn't work.
When I check the order tracking, step 6 is indeed activated but the characteristics of my line are all at 0!!!! Is that normal?

If you have any interesting and reassuring information, I’m interested?

hello, same problem here, I received the box this morning, plugged it in, and the rectangle is flashing!
step 6 OK (Your connection is activated.)

I received the Freebox yesterday, my line has been active since September 11, I have received the technical specifications and I am stuck on the flashing rectangle.

I have been with Free for 3 years. It has always worked. But since Saturday, my Freebox shows the blinking rectangle.
I have rebooted it many times. It's the same thing.

I have no phone, no internet...
When I call my number, I reach Free's voicemail. So my line is not suspended.
I have not received any message from Free indicating that they are doing maintenance.

Total despair.

I'd like to point out that this procedure is NORMAL, it's due to the recognition phase between the MODEM and the DSLAM, in other words, if you don't react, it won't come by itself

IF YOUR BOX STAYS AT THE FLASHING RECTANGLE STAGE, THERE'S ONLY ONE THING TO DO

I know it won't please you or anything, but it's the only method, call Free's technical service, 0800(something) and ask them to reactivate your Freebox (lost recognition), it takes between 48 and 72 hours

No panic after that, the Freebox will resynchronize

Here’s what’s happening to me:
I exchanged my Freebox for the Freebox HD
After connecting it, I got the famous blinking rectangle that signifies an "authentication" problem
After contacting Free's hotline, it turns out that the MAC address does not match the address indicated on their file.
They told me not to worry, it will be updated within 48 hours.
Three days later, still no update because the blinking rectangle is still there..
Today they told me the problem has been escalated and is being processed quickly
but still no date. That's where I stand, four days have passed and still no update.

I had the same problem as you with the migration to v5 flashing rectangle. I reported it via chat; do it, it costs nothing, even twice in one day. Restart 5 times in a row in one day. I waited 24 hours; I wish you the same delay. Take care and happy holidays.
