arrow blocked Solved

Question

Hello,

Tonight when I got home, I turned on my computer like every day. The desktop appears with its background image. Everything is fine except that the mouse pointer is fixed in the center of the screen and it won't move... And there's nothing to be done!

I tried safe mode, same result, repairing the computer, etc... Nothing works!
Thank you for a solution if...

I don't know what it is... But what I do know is that even with the recovery CD, the arrow is still stuck right in the middle... I'm in the process of reformatting it to English because "she" isn't responding (the arrow)... I couldn't choose!!! Once it came out of the factory in English, I reformatted it to French, if the arrow behaves...

Keep us posted on how you solved your problem. Did it happen overnight or did your computer experience a shock? Were you having issues with your touchpad?

I put it back in factory settings, I have the "factory" Windows desktop but the arrow is still stuck in the middle of the screen
I can't finish the setup and it's stuck on Acer Launch among other things.
For now... Dead end. Maybe find a USB mouse? To see...

You can try the USB mouse. Otherwise, you open your machine and check if you see a wire that is unplugged.

Hi,

It doesn't recognize the USB mouse, as for the hardware! I don't know anything about it...

Right now Windows is installed, I'm managing with the keyboard and a lot of patience, it took me almost 24 hours to restart it... With the recovery DVDs I made, and still in English, otherwise nothing but, at the output it's in French! So I'm taking it easy. Anyway, I'll keep you posted...
