j'ai une amie à moi , en classe , était en train de me parler , et puis à la fin elle a dit que je suis un amour , et je sais vraiment pas ce que ça veut dire , aidez moi svp

don't panic, it's not a crashing love declaration coming from a gay!!
it's a common phrase we say to someone to thank them, in general, or to say that the person is really great "this girl is a sweetheart", or otherwise "this guy is adorable"..
