Hello!
I need to create raffle tickets for our association. So far, so good. But I would like to include the numbering of the tickets in my templates, in Word and Excel. Unfortunately, I'm not good with functions, let alone macros, and I have no idea what function to integrate into my template for this operation.
To be more clear, on the template, the number should appear twice, once on the stub, and once on the ticket. We print a minimum of 3 tickets per sheet.
I did try with a macro on my Excel template, but it doesn't work.
I hope I've clearly expressed my request.
I thank in advance all the members who will look into my question and help me create this awesome raffle ticket.
Thank you and have a great weekend everyone!

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

Hello,

With Word and Excel in mail merge, quite simply, without any macros.

See here in this thread, the explanation by M@rina
https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-3991104-creation-de-carnet-de-tombola-sous-word2007

PS. applicable to all versions of Word, even if the thread talks about 2007

Hello Argixu.
I did actually find this link after posting my message. I created my column, but I haven't tried it on Word and mail merge yet. I wanted to first attempt the incrementation of numbers on my Excel template, and that’s not easy...
In fact, I was about to try the label experience when I saw your responses.
But thank you very much for posting this link again, as it's very well explained, and who knows, it might help other internet users who, like me, searched for "insertion" instead of "tombola."
Well, I’m going back to my trials.
Thank you for replying to me, Argixu and Michel_M.

Hello Michel_M.

Actually, I had no trouble creating a nice and pretty layout in Word. Since I wanted to increment the numbers, I tried in Excel, but I'm much less skilled at that, lol, and I can't even manage to set a photo as a watermark background.
I just tried to put an Excel layout into Word, but I have my doubts since I'm afraid the Excel grid lines will show up when printed (yes, I did remove those ugly grid lines in Excel...).
I read on one of the forums that I needed to create a macro (in Excel), I tried, but it doesn't understand my code at all; there's always an error...
There you go, I hope I'm clearer to understand.

Louve 28, I completely understand that you only have eyes for Michel_M!!! :-))))

But you should also read my message (further up).
You start with that and then decorate your tickets afterwards :)

But I read you, lol, I responded in order, lol.
Thanks for the tip 2. So I create the label, then the ticket, then I increment. And if I can't do it that way, I'll try: create the label, increment, improve.

I think that if I can't do it, that will be serious...

Thank you Argixu.

Thank you, Argixu! ! !

Thank you for the link and the hint 2. I succeeded, it took me 4 hours to find the right order, but it’s done!
Thank you both for responding and have a great end of the weekend!
