Hello,
I have two questions:
1) What are all the different Intel Core models? (i5, i7,...)
2) Which one is better? Intel Core or Pentium?
Configuration: Windows 7 - Home Premium Edition
Opera 11

The latest i3 series 2100 has 2 cores and an integrated graphics card: it's good for office work, internet, multimedia.
AMD does the same with the A4 and A6 with 2 or 4 cores + a much more powerful Radeon HD graphics card: allows playing not too demanding games.
AMD is cheaper (processor + motherboard), much better on the graphics side.
The i5 and i7 are for when you need a lot of power: video transcoding, demanding games, professional applications, etc.
Pentium and Celeron and Core 2 will disappear (replaced by i).
In my opinion, the vast majority of PCs will be sold with A4, A6, and i3. W7 is still demanding: you shouldn't buy a sluggish PC or else install Linux.

Ok, but one last thing (even if the topic is marked [Resolved]).
Do the Intel Core i1, i2, i4, i6, and i8 exist? (especially the i4)

With i1 = entry-level, i3 entry, i5 mid-high, i7 high, i9 extreme ;)
i1 ... Wouldn't it be the Centrino?
