Bonjour,
I would like to know how to disable the sfr public wifi so that people in the building can no longer connect to the internet using my box with their credentials!!!!
Additionally, is it possible to hide my box from the connection options so that they can't see my box at all???
Thank you

Absolutely!
In your browser, type 192.168.1.1 to access your box's configuration. First, log in as Admin! So, connect using either the username (usually Admin and Admin) or by pressing the button on the box to sync
then, look for hotspot and simply disable it
and to hide your box, it's here: http://www.actuneuf.com/forums/userimages/wifi-config-3.jpg, you need to disable SSID broadcasting! -
Yes, technically your network is registered so it will connect automatically
Otherwise, you will need to manually add a wireless network in the Network and Sharing Center and enter the name of your box (the SSID in question) and then the key. -
Super, thanks!!! Last question... If I disable the SID... will I still be able to connect to the internet with my laptop via WiFi or not????
