Big problem with the Sims Medieval!!!

Hello everyone
I have a problem, I installed the update for The Sims Medieval (-->2.0.113.00107) and when I click to enter the game a page opens and tells me "Content activation: The Sims Medieval
You are trying to access locked content that requires activation before it can be used
Select 'OK' to activate or 'Exit' to stop.
And then I am asked for a serial number but I don’t know where to find it

Before installing the update, did you purchase the game? The serial number that the game requires should be on the game.

the sims are too lame, I have GTA VCS so shut up aaaah aaaah aaaaaah

Sorry, your message has nothing to do with his problem.
The serial number is on the game's case.

Yes, I bought the game at Easter, but I downloaded it directly from the internet on EA and I can't find the number.

If you bought it on EA, check your EA account; it might be there, or check your email as they probably sent you a message when you purchased your game. If you threw it away...
