Bouygues voicemail

Question

Hello,

Every time I call my voicemail, I get the voicemail setup message to choose my access code and record my greeting.

However, I would like to keep the default greeting of my voicemail (you are on the mobile 06... please leave a message after the beep) and not set an access code.

Is this possible?

Additionally, I cannot access archived messages because of the voicemail setup.

While browsing the internet, I noticed that people had a lot of trouble going back to a normal announcement... even finding it impossible without resetting the SIM card.

Hi,  I think you do create one the first time, and by reminding once again you can modify it for the classic announcement in the options.

The voicemail announcement does not depend on the SIM card.
This is the process I've always followed for my Orange voicemail.
If you want to be sure, contact Bouygues' customer service to ask them.

As for archived messages, you need to be careful because they are only archived for about 10-14 days. After that, they are deleted.
If they are just unread messages, they remain in the voicemail.

A lot of trouble?? So is it possible? Where did you see that?

Actually, I’m with B&You, so there’s no customer service. Several people claimed (on different forums) that the voicemail needed to be reset (only the operator can apparently do this).

You reassure me by saying that archived messages are deleted. Because sometimes I didn’t delete messages from my voicemail (wrong manipulation) and since I can’t access it later, I was worried that my voicemail would get full after a while.
