Hello,
I need your help please!!!
I would like to know, when we go abroad, to Portugal, we pay more for the texts we send to France, but is it the same with a Portuguese sim card when we send texts to France? Or is it still cheaper with a French sim card over there?
And another question, with my landline I can call to Portugal for free on landlines, will it also be free for calls to a mobile in Portugal, both to Portugal and to France, or not?
Thank you for your answers!!
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.6.18

Hello,
SMS from a French mobile to Portugal, to a French number, are charged €0.13. Generally, it is cheaper to keep your French number, as SMS to other countries are often charged €0.30... However, receiving SMS is free worldwide.
From your Box in France, calls to Portuguese mobiles are chargeable. I'm not sure I fully understand your second question:
From a Box (with unlimited mobiles in France): Call to a FRENCH mobile number (06 or 07) that is in Portugal >> FREE
Receiving a call from France on the mobile: €0.13/min.
Is this the answer you were expecting?-
Thank you for your response first of all!
So if I understood your first response correctly, a French phone is better for sending texts when you are in Portugal to France?
For my second question, I wanted to know if with my landline in France, if I call a Portuguese mobile phone that is in Portugal, will I be charged? And will the person in Portugal be charged? Assuming that my landline can call for free to Portugal on landlines, is it also free for mobile phones? I'm not sure if I'm expressing myself better.. -
Yes, it's often cheaper because the European Union has imposed tariff limitations.
With your landline in France, you can call landlines in Portugal, but not mobiles for free. If you do, it will be charged to you, but not to your counterpart in Portugal, as they are in their own country.
I hope I’ve helped you, if you have any other questions, don’t hesitate! -

It's orange but I don't know the offer, I just know there is 1 hour unlimited for mobiles, and for landlines it's unlimited all the time as well as in Portugal, that's all I know!
And if I call from my mobile to the Portuguese number, is it the same, will I be the only one being charged? And do you know how much?
Sorry for all my questions!
