Reduce Word doc A4 by 60% for A5 printing

I would like to specify that I wanted to print on A5 cardstock, and that I wanted to work on it with a cutter.

Maybe someone knows of a utility (freeware, shareware) like a virtual printer that allows you to modify a printout?

In the Print dialog box of Word, choose to print 2 pages per sheet. That's it.

But be careful, printing A4 on A5 is not 60% but 50%.

It's the same principle; in Word, at the time of printing, you indicate 1 page per sheet, and in the paper scaling, you indicate the A5 format.

However, your printer driver must support the A5 format. If you don't have this option in the list, it won't be possible.

If you have a PS printer, you can set a custom format. The dimensions indicated for printing must be exactly the same as those specified in the PS printer driver.

For now, I found the solution:

convert a Word document to PDF,

Open this PDF with GIMP 2

And resize the print size in the Print menu.

I'm still leaving it open for those who have solutions?
