Sending emails with Postfix and accented characters

Hello,

I am using a CentOS 5.6 server with Postfix installed. The emails seem to be sent in UTF-8, but the accents do not appear correctly when reading the emails. Where is this configured?

Configuration: Linux CentOS

    Hi,

    Is your mail server working? Do you send yourself an email to another mailbox and it’s when reading that mailbox that the accents don’t come through?

    Yes, the mail server is functioning (it's a new server I hadn't used yet). The problem became apparent when I used the mail from a PHP program (newsletter). I also tested it on Linux command line with the mail command. When I receive the email, the accents are not encoded :/
