Direct USB printing

Question

Hello to all the forum members,

I have an idea but I'm not sure if it's feasible.

At my job, I use my personal laptop. I don't have a printer on my PC. So every time I want to print, I have to go to a colleague's PC with my USB stick.
I'd like to know if it's possible to program my USB stick so that as soon as I insert it into my colleague's computer, the printing of the desired document starts automatically?

Good evening,

It seems that some laser printers or multifunction printers have an SD card reader or a USB port that allows you to print directly from files stored on an SD card or USB drive.
Perhaps there is this kind of equipment in your office.

Hello,
If you're forbidden to connect a personal computer, connecting a USB stick presents the same risks (unless you scan the stick with an antivirus).
I don't believe that it can be automated to print files saved on a USB stick.
However, a simple way is to go to the workstation, open the USB stick, select all the files to print, and right-click to activate the "print" command.
You can also drag the files to be printed onto the printer icon that you have placed on the desktop.

Regarding a possible virus. I often analyze my key. It is only used for work. I know the right-click trick but it requires me to ask my colleague to let me have the space for two seconds. After a while, it's annoying. Would it be possible to have an autorun on the file to print? Thank you.
