Credit card reference request for majority

The excuse of 'age verification' is a bit lame... A kid can know their parents' credit card information! The main motive is to be able to siphon off as much money as possible afterwards..
It is indeed not recommended to give out credit card information online, especially for this kind of thing... Just look at the countless questions/complaints regarding unwanted charges..
If you have to give a credit card number, only do so with a Virtual Card (one-time use number that can only be used once..). In addition, you can set the amount to be charged, so no nasty surprises.. Another advantage is that if the number is 'intercepted', it won't be useful to the hackers (the 'secure' sites are not completely secure..).
