Mac wakes up after sleep

Hello,

I have a small problem with my Macbook Pro, not very bothersome but a bit nonetheless.
My computer has an issue when I ask it to go to sleep, meaning that about 2 seconds after I click on "Sleep," my computer turns back on.

Note that my Mac goes to sleep just fine when I close the lid, and I have just repaired the disk permissions, with no result.

Does anyone know what could be causing this problem?

Thank you in advance,
Ninamil

Configuration: Mac OS X / Safari 534.24

Do you have a USB mouse connected? If so, that could be it... Your mouse sends data even when the Mac is asleep, which it can interpret as a WakeUp!

Yes, it could very well be that, or any other Bluetooth/IR device connected to your computer.
*IR: Infrared, like an Apple remote, but you still have to press a button in that case...

Hello, mine lights up sometimes since I put a wireless Bluetooth laser mouse connected to a charging dock plugged in via USB. Could that be what's waking it up from time to time??? Thanks in advance!

Is your Mac heating up, is the fan running?
