Lancel bags are made in Feruzzi, Italy, a bag costs about €1000 ...
It all depends on how much you paid for it.

A Cou-companion (wallet) was given to me as a gift, and after a week the leather was already worn, as if it had been used for a year. The complaint was made within 2 weeks of purchase - the LANCEL workshop considers that the quality of the product meets Lancel's standards!!!!! What can I say - bravo, bravo
I won't go into the details of the management and the behavior of the "sales" staff
The value of €300 for this wallet, purchased in the Lancel store in France !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This has never happened to me with a branded product. The more I talk to people about this Lancel experience, the more I discover disappointed people with these products.
So, original or not, I’ll do without these products.

I am preparing to make a complaint of the same kind for a bag purchased in 2010 in store for 260 euros. A thin layer is peeling off, revealing a kind of black fabric underneath: what a shame for a prestigious brand like LANCEL! I expect to have a tough time, but I won't give up! Expecting a refund seems to me to be the least that I can get! It's legal theft!!!!

I agree.
I have a Lancel pouch that has aged very badly. It turns out that the leather is just an ultra-thin layer and it's crumbling. Useless!
