Hello,
After watching the anime of GTO, I was told that there was no sequel; actually, I was told that the second season of GTO takes place when he was young, meaning the series YOUNG GTO.
But on the scanlation site, there are scans of GTO where I don't recognize the story, so I was wondering if there isn't a sequel to GTO that continues in scans????
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello:
Actually, Shonan Junai Gumi is a manga that was released in the 90s and had some success in Japan.
A few years later, the author, Toru Fujisawa, decided to tell the story of one of the characters from SJG: Onizuka. That's GTO.
Since GTO did well in France and SJG from the 90s is completely unknown in France, it was renamed "Young GTO."
So actually, GTO is the sequel to SJG, not the other way around.
GTO does have a sequel; it began a year ago under the name "GTO: Shonan 14 days."
Scanlation available via Google.

And now he's going to change students and go to a new school.
Yet when I read the first scan, the story is completely off-topic.
The GTO anime is the adaptation of the GTO (paper) manga (it’s always the same in Japan, first the paper manga, then the adaptation on TV).
The anime adapted about half of the original manga, but the cartoon's screenwriters decided to conclude the series with a completely absurd and incoherent ending (where one of the students committed a crime, where Onizuka ends up in the USA....).
In reality, in the original manga, the story continues for a long time.
You should read the entire original manga, as it doesn't have much in common with the cartoon.
Then, GTO 14 Shonan Days is the sequel to GTO.
By the way, I read today that the first volume will be released in mid-September in France.
