Hello,

I have EXCEL 2003 with VBA 6.3.
When I want to place my MSCOMM object on my userform, the following message appears:

"the subject is not approved for the specified action"

Can you help me

    I have already modified the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\ I replaced the value 400 with 0 but it doesn't change anything, I also changed the mscomm32.ocx file but that doesn't change anything either.

    Do you have a solution?

    I removed the update KB2508272, and now I have the message "the control cannot be created because it is not properly licensed."
