Hello,
After searching online, I can't find any topic that answers my question.
When I go on Dailymotion and start the video, sometimes an ad plays, so there's no issue with playing it, but when I get to the video in question, it loads but I only have sound, no video.
I thought it might be due to Adblock, so I disabled it, but that didn't change anything. I reinstalled Flash Player, still nothing.
I had this problem on YouTube a while ago, but suddenly I was able to watch videos without any issues.
I really don't know what to do, so if anyone has a solution for me, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.6.16

Finally, I have the image on Dailymotion thanks to YouTube
On Dailymotion: I right-clicked and the "Settings" menu is grayed out.
I went to YouTube and right-clicked again, and the Settings menu is accessible.
From there I disabled hardware acceleration, and it works again thanks to YouTube!
Thank you

Hello,
I found it. I have an ATI card and I discovered that the 3D AA (Antialiasing) setting must be set to "use application settings." Odd, right?
But hey, it works, that's what matters.
Test on your side before we write that it’s resolved.

Nothing works!!!
- updated Flash Player
- tried uninstalling QuickTime
- latest version of DivX installed
- ATI graphics card settings set to "use application settings"
...
The video and sound of the ads are fine, but then I only have sound with a black screen for the video.
Same issue with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, ...
It's really frustrating.
For crying out loud, isn't there a little genius who could fix this problem? And what about Dailymotion... do they not care or what?
It's been going on for months.

I had exactly the same problem (ad at launch: ok, sound: ok, video: black. I eventually found a silly trick: open a new tab (or new window), go to YouTube, watch any video & right-click on it, then go to Settings & finally click on the first little icon at the bottom left, uncheck hardware acceleration, click Close... & that's it, Dailymotion immediately becomes operational again.
Hi
Great, I just had that same issue recently with Daily and it’s working again
Thanks to you
Edit: I think it’s from the new Firefox which, like Explorer, uses the hardware acceleration of the video card
In Firefox, go to Tools, Options, uncheck this in the General tab and everything should work again

Same for me tonight, sound but no videos (images) on Dailymotion, however YouTube works perfectly fine, and what's strange is that the videos from my Facebook feed coming from Dailymotion are viewable on Facebook, but not on Dailymotion... However, on the Dailymotion site, I can't see anything... well yes, and this is also strange, !!! indeed the ads are visible, sound included... but once they are finished, well the video title contains no images, only sound!!! I uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Flash, removed my last recent downloads like VLC, etc... but nothing works... I am connected to the public SFR wifi which usually doesn’t have this bug...
Thank you for your help. Have a great weekend.

Iaorana everyone
I had the same problem but with the Chrome browser, and while searching left and right, I ended up doing "right click/Settings on a video from the site then I unchecked the box "enable hardware acceleration" and oh miracle! the image came back! " hope this helps...
