Infected system, folder multiplied to infinity

Hello, attached is the translation requested for the user content into English, preserving HTML structure and tone. Hello,

The folder where I download my music and my videos (100% legal) had an unusual reaction recently while I was running a scan with an anti-spyware. The folder where my files are located has multiplied inside the folder dozens of times.

Originally, my documents were organized like this:
H:/Downloads/music.mp3

However, for a few days now, this folder is organized like this:
H:/Downloads/music.mp3, except that among my music there is a folder named "downloads", in which all my music files are found again and another folder named "downloads", and so on. If you keep clicking on the "downloads" folder, it ends up looking like this:
H:/Downloads/Downloads/Downloads/Downloads/Downloads/Downloads/....

The problem is that I can't delete all the unnecessary subfolders in which dozens of copies of my music end up, and every time I run a scan (the last one was with "SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition"), the scanning program never completes the operation and I believe my music keeps multiplying during the analysis.

P.S. If it helps, I was infected by "XP Home Security 2011" recently which I managed to remove with "RogueKiller" and by several malware which I partially removed with "Malwarebytes Anti-Malware". Nevertheless, I still have several other serious problems persisting, such as unwanted web pages that appear every time I click on a link in Google and an alert (red shield, bottom right) that tells me that Windows automatic updates are disabled, even though they seem to be enabled in the Control Panel.

I am surely still infected and I don’t want to lose everything!

Please help me find a simple, free and effective solution!

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Fred

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.10
