Hello,
I currently have a word displaying on the digital screen on the front of my SAMSUNG HT-DB120 HOME CINEMA, that word is "PROTECTION", so I cannot open the tray or turn on my device.
Who can help me?
Thank you very much

You need to drop off your device at your supplier: the power supply is dead. If your device is still under warranty, hurry up!

Hi, I'm having the same issue with my Samsung HT-TX35 home cinema
I'm really annoyed, it's only 5 months old
It turns on, says hello, then goes into protection mode and turns off
If anyone has found a solution, please let me know

Hello, I just got a Samsung home theater; same display issue and I think it needs to be sent for repair. If you still have the warranty
I just received mine, I called and they are going to replace it for me
      thank you

    Hello,

In the player settings, you should have a menu that allows you to disable it.

    See you soon

    Hello again
the problem is that I can't bring up the MENU mode on the screen because it doesn't appear, my remote control (even though I've changed the batteries) seems to be out of sync with the HOME CINEMA I've had for 18 months. HELP ME.
    thank you in advance.

To reassure you, I also had that on my home theater system, and well, I followed the instructions as indicated.

Of course, I found the answer in my manual.

    Unfortunately, it's not a Philips.

    See you soon.

      gouril,

what is the procedure to disable this protection?

my reader turns on and off immediately.

I can’t access anything, not even the menu.

If you know anything, please provide the answer. thank you in advance.

The likely cause is the power supply that overheats.
The part needs to be replaced, costing 95 euros for parts and labor. I therefore think it’s better to switch brands.

    (HT DB120)

I have this issue with mine, repaired under warranty, but the problem reappeared two years later, so today I’m looking at another brand.
