Notepad++ and excel macro

Question

Hello, 

Can anybody help me in writing a macro in Notepad++, which should take a word from excel and replace with new word in an order.

Eg: I have 100 xmls to modify data and one excel sheet. Excel contains two columns, old and new. I want notepad++ to take old data from old column and search it in all xmls and then replace with new data in respective xml(s).

I think it is easier to write a macro in Excel which open and modify the xml file.
