Large padlock that remains displayed on the screen

Hello,
we have a problem with a PC.
It has Windows XP but for several months now, a large padlock has been appearing on the screen. It opens and closes. It's about 5 cm by 5 cm, it's huge and it can't be moved.
How can I remove it? Is it a virus?

    what antivirus and firewall do you have on your PC?
