If you have version 0.47a or 0.47c (I don't know about the others!), you click on the help icon at the top right and you'll be redirected to emule-project, then you choose servers, then server list, you select the list "the best servers" and then you click on "add to eMule" and that's it!
In your servers page on eMule, at the update from URL section, you now have a URL that will allow automatic updates even though address.dat will still appear!
But at least you have a starting point!!!

You open your eMule, then click on PREFERENCES. Next, select the SERVER tab and there you will see an option to check the server list on startup "UPDATE SERVER LIST ON STARTUP." Uncheck this option and apply. No more worries.
