Bonjour, j'ai un eee pc series 4G et un disque dur externe toshiba 250G. L'ordinateur tourne sous ubuntu. J'aimerais savoir comment installer et faire tourner le jeu dofus 2.O sur mon disque dur externe sans toucher a la mémoire de mon ordinateur (qui de toute facon n'en a pas assez) merci et à bientôt.

Je n'ai pas très bien compris le rapport entre la mémoire (RAM) et le disque externe. Ce n'est pas plutôt un problème d'espace disque ? Si oui la solution consisterait à installer dofus dans un environnement chrooté sur ton disque externe.

oui, quand je l'installe sur mon ordinateur, lors de la mise à jour obligatoire, je recoit un message me précisant qu'il n'y a pas assez d'espace disque dispo. Comment installer dfus et le faire marcher ( avec la mise a jour) seulement sur mon disque dur externe? merci

Il s'installe dans quel(s) répertoire(s) ? /usr/local ?

sur mon pc? il s'installe par défaut dans mon dossier personnel home .

Et tu ne peux pas lui dire de s'installer ailleurs, par exemple sur ton disque externe ? Il te laisse le choix pour le répertoire d'installation ?

si. Je l'enregistre sur mon disque dur externe, je modifie les propriétés pour qu'il puisse se lancer comme un "..." je ne sais plus =$ bref, je le lance et aumoment de l'éxécution ca me marque que le média ne peut s'ouvrir, car les droits sur le disque dur externe sont limités à la lecture. Si je vais dans les propriétés de mon disque dur externe, je coche lecture et ecriture partout mais ca ne marche pas.

La barre verticale (alt gr 6) derrière dmesg c'était pas une faute de frappe :p. Il faut vraiment que tu la tapes juste après avoir branché ton disque.

Ensuite l'espace entre cat et /etc/fstab est important.

En l'état ce que tu m'as reporté est malheureusement inexploitable, mais je soupçonne ton disque d'être /dev/sdb1 et d'être monté dans /media/Nouveau. Ce qui me fait un peu hésiter c'est que c'est visiblement de l'ext2 ce qui est un drôle de choix (de l'ext3 voire 4 me paraît plus appropriée mais bon), mais apparemment vu le point de montage (/media/Nouveau) je crois que c'est clair :p

Ensuite il faudra probablement corriger la ligne qui figure dans /etc/fstab et qui se réfère à /dev/sdb1.

gksudo gedit /etc/fstab &


A priori je dirai qu'à terme elle doit ressembler à ceci (attention aux espaces et à la casse) :

/dev/sdb1  /media/Nouveau  ext2  noauto,rw,user,users,uid=kevin 0  0


Une fois la correction effectuée débranche et rebranche ton disque et normalement ça devrait rouler.

Ah ben c'est juste ça que tu dois corriger.

(quand le disque est branché et accessible en lecture). Juste après avoir branché ton disque reporte-moi le résultat de :

dmesg | tail


Accède à ton disque et donne moi le résultat de :

cat /etc/fstab
mount


Dans l'idée on va corriger le fichier /etc/fstab conformément à ce qui est expliqué ici :

Si tu ne le sens pas je vais te guider une fois que tu m'auras reporté le résultat des trois commandes mentionnées ci-dessus.

re-bonjour, j'ai formaté mon disque dur externe sous ext 4. Je vais sur le site de téléchargement. J'enregistre la cible du lien sous mon disque dur externe. Puis, je change les propriétés du fichier dofusinstall.run pour qu'il se lance comme un programme. Je double clique sur le fichier et selectionne lancer. J'accepte le contrat. Puis on me demande : "Voulez-vous installer le jeu dans le répertoire /home/kevin/ankama/Dofus ? je clique sur NON et selectionne le disque dur externe.Et la, on me dit que: "/media/Nouveau volume/Dofus : Le répertoire n'est pas accessible en écriture. Veuillez spécifier un autre répertoire ou contacter votre administrateur." merci, en attente de votre réponse.

Laisse tomber en ext2 ça ira aussi et normalement il n'y a pas besoin de reformater, dans ce cas précis. Ajoute la ligne que je t'ai indiqué dans mon précédant message dans /etc/fstab (en changeant ext2 par ext4 au besoin).

Mmmmh bizarre tu avais écrit :
/dev/sdb1 on /media/Nouveau volume type ext2 (rw,nosuid,nodev,uhelper=udisks)

Bon, c'est pas grave on va le créer :

sudo mkdir -p /media/Nouveau


Si tu préfères tu peux également créer un répertoire avec un nom plus parlant genre /media/externe et corriger en conséquence /etc/fstab et la commande mkdir ci-dessus.
