there are two conditions
- the first is that the TV must be at least HD ready to display the high definition image (external source HDMI No. ??? to switch)
- and secondly, that this TV is connected to the TNTHD tuner via HDMI
this works like that for me
Of course, it is clear that the TNT HD tuner receives the TV in HD multiplex R5 for TF1, FR2, and M6 HD and multiplex R4 for Arte HD. There are retransmitters that do not have the multiplex R5 (information available at www.tousaunumerique.fr and search with your postal code)

ps: there are still regions where multiplex R5 is of very poor quality, resulting in a black screen due to insufficient signal
