Hello,
here is my problem, my hard drive is divided into 2 partitions: c: and my docs.
in the c: partition I have a file called downloads that appears completely empty when accessed, yet its properties show it weighs 15.6 GB.
I have tried several maneuvers but it still shows as an empty folder, and I run it as an administrator.
this is becoming extremely cumbersome for me as my first partition is overloaded and I would like to clean it up.
can someone please help me?
Thank you in advance for your response and assistance
Kevin
Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 3.6.13

Creepy!
A 15g file with nothing in it! I'm not a specialist, so I'm just throwing out suggestions:
- Hidden file? (but still, it's quite hard to reach 15g)
- Reformat the entire partition. A quick Google search will give you solutions. I believe CCleaner has an option to wipe unused files on the computer to free up space in memory.
- Smash your keyboard really hard against your PC while biting the cable of your mouse, screaming grahouuu, hoping to scare away the monstrous 15g file hiding in downloads... -
Well, in the end, I reformatted the partition, so no more issues and plenty of free space :)
Thanks for your answers.
