Empty folder after extracting a file

Hello,

When I decompress a .rar or .zip file with Alzip, some folders are filled with files after decompression, others are empty, or recently, the folder doesn't even appear anymore!!

It's really frustrating, I hope someone can help me!!

    Hello, you can still install and use Winrar, more efficient for .rar files:

    I found what was wrong: the files were being placed in a fictitious session folder (C:/documents and settings/ChloÚ/my documents, instead of C:/documents and settings/Chloé/my documents)
    but why?? I really don't know
    (I'm leaving this post unresolved in hopes of getting an answer to this bug...)
