Hello,
Has your PC caught a virus? How is it protected?
See you. -
F-Secure is my antivirus and it hasn't detected anything!!!
So do I have a chance to recover my data? -
Very little. I know that there are software for that: Easy Recovery, Testdisk, ...
But I've never used them and I don't know what they are like.
Maybe also by doing a restore, although I doubt it.
If you only have an antivirus but no Firewall, it's possible that a malicious person has come to take a look at your PC and has done something bad to you. -
Hello,
Try this FAQ:

Is your antivirus up to date? Run an online antivirus and anti-trojan scan.

I tried and it didn't work... I'm going to format the PC!!!
and start fresh... I'm really disgusted!!!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP, next time I'm sure I'll have better luck!!

Formatting will bring you nothing. Installing a firewall will be much more useful.
Malicious actors who come to spy on and potentially damage your PC when you're connected, without installing viruses or spyware, are not detected by antivirus or anti-spyware programs.
Following a hard drive change, I reinstalled ZoneAlarm on February 6th.
I'm at 141,300 intrusion attempts, of which 14,650 are high-level alerts. -
Next time, make your regular backups ;-)

1st principle to follow to recover deleted data: DO NOT USE THE DISK (or partition) from which you want to recover.
€2,000! I don't know who gave you that figure, but it's definitely exaggerated. €600 should be the maximum.
Go on Google, Advanced search, and in Exact phrase type Data recovery.
You will have options.
If the deleted data is vital and it's worth the expense, don't try to do anything yourself. It's very risky, and even specialists may not be able to do anything afterwards. Go through a specialized company.
If you don't want to spend any money recover lost data
