Landscape mode startup

Every time I open Word 2002, it systematically opens in landscape mode instead of portrait mode.
I have to change the mode every time I open Word.
Can someone give me the solution?
I have uninstalled Word and reinstalled it.
I'm still having the same problem. 
Configuration: windows xp

      Hi

      the solution is actually very simple

      you open Word then go to the "File" / "Page Layout" tab

      you click on "Portrait" and then you click on the button at the bottom left of this window that says "Default" and that's it

      and the problem is solved HAVE A GREAT SUNDAY
