Hello,

I have a whole collection of phone cards that I would like to sell (flea markets, swap meets, stores, individuals...) but I want to make sure I don’t get cheated. Some of them might be valuable and I would like to know how to recognize them??
Does anyone have any ideas?
And do you know of any "experts" to consult in Brittany?

  No, the number of copies doesn't mean anything. Out of 500,000, for example, there could be 400,000 with the same chip, 50,000 with another, 25,000 with one having 6 contacts and the other having 4. I have a book for reference, but not everything is listed in it.

Good evening
I wanted to know if a printing error adds value to a card?
I own 2 Callcards of George Michael, with the same barcode, same units. On one it is whole while on the second the image is misaligned during printing and half of G.M. is missing.

Experts unfortunately have left their jobs, as they were mostly merchants...... There are collectors who can replace them without any problem, just ask the right questions and know how to recognize them for error-free identification of course! The value of public cards is understood as either new in blister or used. The term "used" refers to cards that no longer have their original blister and are in good condition. Scratches or other defects will lead to depreciation. The value aims to determine the rarity of the card in order to facilitate buying, selling, and trading. It is based not only on the print run of the card but, more importantly, on its distribution and dispersion methods. A card is considered rarer the more it is geographically dispersed. Find the chip manufacturer using the serial number: A. ex: A 194298 the manufacturer is SOLAIC, B ex: B 1203k the manufacturer is GEMPLUS, C. ex: C 22037207 the manufacturer is SCHLUMBERGER.
